Terms of Service

The rules of the road for using YanaServe. By signing up you agree to these. Last updated 19 May 2026.

1. What YanaServe is

YanaServe is a software service that lets restaurants, cafes, and hotels in India accept dine-in orders via QR codes, manage their menu, and track orders on a live dashboard. We don’t make food, take payments on your behalf, or handle customer relationships — that’s the cafe’s job.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using the dashboard, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service. If you’re using YanaServe on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 to create an account.
  • Provide accurate information — real cafe name, real email.
  • You’re responsible for keeping your password secure and for anything done from your account.
  • Each account can run one cafe. If you operate multiple cafes, contact us for multi-location options.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Free trial

New accounts get 14 days free. No card required to start. The trial doesn’t auto-charge — if you don’t subscribe before it ends, your dashboard is paywalled but your menu, orders, and data are preserved. You can subscribe any time to restore access.

5. Subscription

  • The paid plan is ₹499 per month, or ₹4,999 per year(two months free) — plus applicable GST, billed in advance via Razorpay’s UPI AutoPay, card, or netbanking.
  • The subscription renews automatically each billing period — monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose — until you cancel. We’ll send a receipt after each charge.
  • You can cancel any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.
  • We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice by email. If you don’t agree to the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.
  • Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use YanaServe for anything illegal, including selling items that aren’t legal in your jurisdiction.
  • Resell, sublicense, or repackage the service.
  • Try to break, reverse-engineer, or scrape the platform.
  • Use the platform to send spam, harass customers, or impersonate another business.
  • Upload content you don’t have the rights to (photos, dish names, etc.).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these. We’ll try to give notice first unless the violation is severe or ongoing.

7. Your data and your customers’ data

Under Indian data protection law, you are the “data fiduciary” for your cafe’s data and your customers’ order data. We are a “data processor” acting on your instructions. We handle that data per our Privacy Policy.

You retain ownership of your menu, orders, and uploaded content. We get a limited license to host, display, and process it solely to provide the service to you.

8. Intellectual property

YanaServe (the platform, code, design, name, and logo) is ours. You may use it as a customer of the service. You may not copy or imitate the platform.

9. Service availability

We aim for high availability but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages (Supabase, Vercel, Razorpay), and force majeure events happen. We’ll communicate planned downtime ahead of time when possible.

10. Payments & third-party services

Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. By subscribing, you also agree to Razorpay’s terms. We never see or store your card or UPI credentials. If a payment fails, the subscription enters “past due” status; if it doesn’t recover, your dashboard is paywalled until you re-subscribe.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t make warranties about fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of statistics, or compatibility with your specific workflow. You use the service at your own discretion.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YanaServe and its people aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — lost profits, lost goodwill, kitchen mishaps, or anything that flows from how you use the platform. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims brought by your customers or third parties that arise from your use of the service in violation of these terms — e.g. selling something illegal through YanaServe, posting infringing photos, or misrepresenting your cafe.

14. Termination

  • You can cancel any time from your dashboard. Your data stays accessible until the end of the billing period, then is paywalled.
  • We may terminateaccounts that violate these terms or sit idle for over 12 months (we’ll email first). On termination we delete data within 30 days, except for legally required records.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Shillong, Meghalaya. Before going to court, both parties agree to try to resolve disputes by writing to hello@yanaserve.in first.

16. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. Material changes get emailed to owners at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before the change kicks in.
